I joined the crowd of over 10,000 curious people on Sunday and went to the BC Place open house to check out how the renovations were going. The place was still under construction but it already looks and feels quite different from the old building. I was very impressed by the new retractable roof, it looked very open and bright and made you feel like you're outdoors. Not sure how it will look when it isn't sunny though - and given that it is rainy 90% of the time in Vancouver, makes you go hmmm. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to seeing the place completed in September. From what I have seen so far, it should look awesome.
