Happy Easter! The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival has started and there are 40,000 trees in around the city. Go on a tree talk and walk or attend the Japan Fair in VanDusen Botanical Garden! The Vancouver International Auto Show is also on at BC Place if you like cars more than blossoms (general admission is $15).

Easter EGGstravaganza
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
River District Centre, 8683 Kerr Street, Vancouver
There will be a chocolate egg hunt, bag decorating station, face-painting and a draw for the grand prize – a giant chocolate bunny!

Tree Talks and Walks in the West End and Downtown
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Meet under the 'Akebono' cherry trees at Burrard Skytrain Station, Vancouver
This will be an Easter Parade, complete with the singing of "Easter Parade" to the accompaniment of two ukuleles. It would be appropriate to wear your Easter bonnet! This walk will be repeated next Sunday, April 15. This will be the longest of these walks in time and distance to travel, goes around downtown and into the West End to see the various cherry blossoms in bloom.
