Canada Place in the Vancouver Convention Center East (the host of Marathon weekend). 
All weekend, products and information from the Health, Sports & Lifestyle exhibitors are available, as well as, Package Pickup for the Marathon and Half Marathon. 60,000 visitors are expected to attend the Expo, as well as, the 15,000 participants who will attend for Package Pickup prior to race day. Best of all its FREE to the public.

Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE to anyone who comes into their stores.

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day of art workshops, childrens' entertainment, crafts, prizes, food and more!

Open Doors Richmond

Explore Richmond's arts, culture and heritage diversity during this two day city-wide free celebration.  Doors Open Richmond will offer free access to over 40 sites, including heritage landmarks, modern structures, hidden gems, places of worship, artist's studios, museums and national historic sites. Many participating partners will organize guided tours, displays and activities to enrich your experience.

6th Annual Spot Prawn Festival
11:00am – 3:00pm
False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf (just west of Granville Island)
The city’s top chefs will prepare a spot prawn boil at False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf benefiting The Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia.  The festival kicks off the BC spot prawn season, which continues on for 6-8 weeks. Taste, buy, and learn to cook live, locally sourced, and sustainable prawns direct off the dock. Festival is free to attend but the spot prawn boil is $12 per plate which includes 1 plate from the Spot Prawn Boil plus access to the drink tent for free coffee, beer, and wine samples.
