It is no secret that I love Magnolias and have my own tree at home. This is the second year of my Magnolia 'Susan' which I purchased from the VanDusen Garden Plant Sale. It is still a tiny thing but I think this year it has many more blooms! The flowers are fragrant with a scent reminiscent of ginger. I wish it would bloom all year lol. Most of the blooms have dropped by now so only these photos are left to tie me over until next year!
