Whet Kitchen.Bar.Patio @whetkitchenbar

After the Swallow Tail Wild Edibles tour, W and I were still a little hungry and I had to pick up a giftcard I had won from Whet Kitchen.Bar.Patio on Granville Island so decided to dine there.

They had a lot of room inside but we decided to join all the others and sit on the heated patio.

We caught the tail end of brunch and I couldn't resist ordering the DungenessCrab Benedict instead of the Whet Burger (though I still want to try it one day!).

My prize was a $20 giftcard to use on anything at Whet, which I won on Twitter from @whetkitchenbar.

I spent it on a small Seafood Chowder ($5) to warm myself up from the rain,

and the Dungeness Crab Benedict ($18).

Both were quite delicious. I could only finish one egg though lol. The hollandaise sauce wasn't too heavy which I liked and the corn was a nice addition. There was a lot of crab included too, which I approve of. I'm glad we caught brunch. I loved the crab benedict! So delicious!
