Sitting at the other end of Place d'Armes was the Notre-Dame Basilica. It is a beautiful structure but to really appreciate it you have to go inside. Admission costs only $5 for adults and there are guided tours every half hour. W and I unfortunately went at a time where there were no tours until after lunchtime but we had other things planned so decided to just go around the church ourselves. It is so nice inside I just around snapping a bajillion photos. Everything was so beautiful! Sorry for the photo heavy post.  We came back later in the even and the place was lit up in blue. Very pretty!
