Anime Revolution is an annual Anime Convention held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Aiming to spread love and appreciation for Anime and Japanese Culture, we celebrate and partake in cultural exchange over three fun-filled days of activities, exhibits, panels, and performances. These include art, animation, comics, contests, costuming, cultural displays, dance, gaming, musical performances, and much more. This exciting annual event is held at the Vancouver Convention Centre!

Scotiabank's Annual Summer BBQ

Scotiabank at W. 12th and Granville will host its annual Community BBQ and Fundraiser at their branch at 2804 Granville Street. All the proceeds from this years event will benefit the Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. (WIDHH), a local non-profit that has been serving the community for over 50 years. This free event is open to all ages and will feature live musical performances, a silent auction featuring goods and services from shops and businesses in the South Granville shopping district, delicious BBQ’d smokies, hamburgers and pulled pork and so much more.

4th Annual Corn Festival at Kerrisdale Farm Market

It's corn season and we think that's reason to celebrate! Come to the Kerrisdale Farmers Market for the corny-est display of delicious BC produce and everything corn!  We'll be featuring: BC Corn by the Truckload! Vancouver Zombie Walk 2013

Every year the Vancouver Zombiewalk grows bigger, with more participants of all ages, ever more creative costumes and levels of GOOOOORE, more spinoff and associated events throughout the city, and more huge quantities of blood-soaked fun every single time. The Horde leaves the Art Gallery at 4pm and travels up Robson towards Denman. Hangs a left on Denman. Continues on to English Bay, Sunset Beach and the small park with all the laughing Asian man statues!

Latin Summer Fest 2013

To Promote Latin Culture in a one-day outdoor event in Vancouver each August, through its colourful spirit, arts, culture and food. Food Cart Fest is a gathering of over 20 of Vancouver’s top Food Carts presented by Arrival and The Streetfood Vancouver Society. Join us every week this summer for food, fun, and sun complemented by community markets, live music and DJs, craft food vendors, kids activities, and more. Food Cart Fest launches on Sunday, June 23 and takes place every Sunday from 12pm-5pm until September 22. Admission is $2. Children 13 and under get in free. Max rate for families is $5. This summer, the Chinatown Night Market is bringing a heady mix of time-honoured tradition and new school flavour to the festivities on Keefer Street. Live music, storytelling, and Mahjong; new vendors, more food, and some other stuff that wasn’t here last year like outdoor classic movie screenings and epic ping pong tournaments.
